An Exclusive Three-Night Autumn Embroidery Retreat

1–4 October 2027 | Goodnestone Park, Kent

An invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature and discover the quiet joy of stitching.

Join acclaimed embroidery artists Cristina Rebeccani Coretti and Caroline Zoob for an extraordinary three-night creative retreat in the enchanting surroundings of Goodnestone Park, a magnificent historic country estate nestled in the Kent countryside.

Inspired by the celebrated walled garden, the rich colours of autumn and the beauty of the surrounding parkland, this intimate retreat offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of hand embroidery, exploring the natural world through observation, creativity and stitch.

From Leaf to Landscape

Over the course of the retreat, Cristina and Caroline will guide you through a series of inspiring, hands-on embroidery workshops.

Drawing inspiration from the gardens and grounds, you will explore botanical details, textures, colours and compositions, translating your observations into beautiful stitched interpretations of the landscape.

Whether you are an experienced stitcher or simply wish to deepen your creative practice, the emphasis will be on exploration, enjoyment and the pleasure of making.

There will be time to wander through the gardens, gather inspiration, share ideas and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of stitching together.

A Very Special Place

Goodnestone Park is one of Kent's most beautiful historic country estates, celebrated for its magnificent walled garden, romantic parkland and fascinating connections to Jane Austen.

For three nights, the elegant Manor House will be exclusively reserved for our retreat guests.

Enjoy the luxury of beautifully appointed bedrooms, gracious drawing rooms and welcoming spaces in which to relax, reflect and enjoy the company of fellow creatives.

As autumn settles across the estate, the gardens and surrounding landscape provide a particularly magical setting for our creative journey.

Throughout your stay, enjoy delicious, freshly prepared seasonal meals by professional chef Reuben,, formerly of London's acclaimed St. JOHN restaurant group.

Inspired by the seasons and the pleasures of gathering around a table, our meals will be an integral part of the retreat experience, offering moments to relax, connect and share stories.
